Nicole Cox

Creative thinker, designer & explorer.

Nicole Cox is a creative thinker, designer & explorer dedicated to creating and transforming brands for business leaders.

I'm a creative thinker, designer & explorer. Every day I get to do what I love most… create and transform brands.

I spent my first 8 years of life in East Africa and enjoyed traveling around the world as the daughter of a pilot. My continued extensive travel and global exposure has only enriched my perspective and encouraged my deep desire to constantly learn and understand various cultures and markets.

My career to date has seen me work with some of the world’s largest brands through to startups and NGO’s, all while learning from some incredible people. Over the last 18 years I’ve created, refreshed and transformed brands together with hundreds of entrepreneurs, companies and social ventures.

I am a former Council Member for Design Institute of Australia (DIA) Queensland and member of the Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA).

Ultimately, I believe that life is about giving, creating, building, sharing, seizing opportunities, living your dreams and contributing positively to the world. I am driven to build brands with impact particularly in the two areas most in need – health & wellness, and education as I believe with education comes freedom and with health comes happiness.

Changing the world with One Health

I am passionate about health for all and am privileged to be the Brand Director of One Health Organisation.

One Health Organisation (OHO) is now the largest organisation of its kind in the world, and the only United Nations DPI registered Social Innovation Agency to advocate a wellness based approach to primary health care. It is a Social Innovation Agency for the health & wellness space.

OHO’s approach to achieving world health is fourfold: individual engagement, community collaboration, ethical business and systemic change. Via these four pillars, OHO engages individuals in community work, supports other social ventures to achieve their goals, transitions business and corporations to a social enterprise approach, and advocates at a national and international level for equitable, sustainable and integrative healthcare policy. Life as one big adventure

I live to become a better person every single day. Adventures like climbing Kilimanjaro, exploring new places and enjoying the company of people I've known forever and others I meet for fleeting moments are some of the joys of life. I love being in a constant state of learning and being inspired by everything and everyone around me.

My biggest adventure yet...
successfully climbing Mt Kilimanjaro for Kids Helpline!

The latest big adventure...
a week in the South of France with Marty Neumeier at #ZAGWEEK

ZAGWEEK_France2013.jpg

I recently returned from ZAGWEEK in the south of France which was facilitated by Marty Neumeier - thought leader in brand strategy, innovation, and design and author of many books. Together with eight incredible people from around the world, we spent our time being provoked, challenged and inspired all while taking in the amazing scenery that surrounded us and sharing lots of laughs. I'll be writing some blog posts in the coming weeks on this experience and that of the Service Design Thinking course also taken in Berlin.

Liquid Agency have posted about our experience.

A rare experience in front of the camera for my dear friends at Jolt Studio in their rebranding efforts for the amazing Eden Health Retreat @edenretreat_.
